It is very common that a wp user would frustrate about the xml sitemap. Fortunately, we have a plugin called http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/google-sitemap-generator/ . However, this plugin won’t work for wp multisite. After digging around, I found the following article which give me the solution of Google XML Sitemaps worked under WordPress Multisite.
Keep in mind that you would better keep the sitemap location constant. For example:
- /home/domain/public_html/subdomain/xxx_sitemap.xml
- http://subdomain.domain.net/subdomain/xxx_sitemap.xml
